Solid spot for late night shrimp poboy. We can after midnight, no wait. Food came out quick and hot! The shrimp poboy bread was crispy and the shrimp was freshly fried. Adequately topped with mayo tomato and lettuce and pickles. One of the best we had during our trip to New Orleans.
NOLA PoBoys is a hidden gem for the best Po’boys in New Orleans! Super cute spot with tons of options and seriously tasty food. The bread was fresh and perfect, and every bite was packed with flavor. If you’re hunting for an authentic Po’boy experience, this is the place!
NOLA Poboys hit the spot! The 12” Shrimp Poboy was perfect for two—crispy, flavorful, and fresh. The Alligator Poboy was a tasty surprise. PRO TIP: Don’t skip the fries—they’re worth it!
What a great little place. We went in and bought a spicy shrimp Po boy and a half of a muffaletta. So much food, very tasty and the atmosphere was very welcoming and friendly.
My wife and I had the 12" Grilled Shrimp Po-Boy twice here. Both time it was large enough for us to share it and had dessert on the side. They had a lot of other items on the menu as well. Unfortunately, we only had a short stay in New Orleans or else I would be here at least every other day.
The sweet older man at the register was so nice and fun! We were recommend here by a few locals who we befriended at Lafittes. We asked where to go to get good food and they said here! I got the "who dat" which is a shrimp poboy with bisque, fries and gator balls. And it was all so delcious! The stop itself is nicely decorated, lots of food options to choose from, and lots of drink options. This is definitely an amazing little place to stop by and grab and declious sandwich! Portions are large and very much worth the money.
Great food and service! We were there shortly after they opened, so there was minimal wait time for our food, but there was a bit of a line closer to 12. I had a ham sandwich, which was really good, and my wife had the fried shrimp poboy and she really liked it. We also ordered the fried okra, good amount of spice in the batter, good portion (photo is from after we already ate half), perfect piece sizes for just popping in your mouth.
We visited this establishment three years ago during Easter, and we came back to relive the same unforgettable flavors we experienced the first time. This place never disappoints. On this visit, we discovered even more indoor seating, surrounded by beautiful and unique memorabilia—definitely worth mentioning and photographing. The staff is amazing and patient, especially for those who need a moment to decide from the many delicious options. The po’boys are some of the best we’ve had, and the salads are great too. If you find yourself on Bourbon Street, in the heart of the French Quarter, stop by and treat yourself to a little snack—or a full 16-inch po’boy! Bon appetit!
